Imagine spending your summer at 5,300 feet elevation in the stunning Sierra National Forest, just 40 minutes from Fresno. Hungry Hut is Shaver Lake's oldest and most beloved family-owned restaurant — and they're looking for energetic, team-oriented students to join their crew for the summer season!
You'll work as a Cook or Cashier/Shake Server in a fast-paced, friendly environment where everything is made fresh from scratch. No experience? No problem — the menu is small and the team will teach you everything you need to know. Tips are shared across the whole team and paid out bi-weekly, boosting your weekly earnings significantly.
Housing is steps away — literally in the same building as the restaurant — making your commute under 15 minutes on foot. The apartment is fully equipped and costs only $75/week all-inclusive. Free airport pickup from Fresno Yosemite International Airport is also provided!
Shaver Lake draws 275,000 visitors every summer, offering a buzzing social scene, lake beaches, kayaking, hiking trails, a legendary 4th of July celebration, a VW car show, free concerts, and much more. Previous students from Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Poland, and Uzbekistan have all had a great time here!
