That's exactly what awaits you at Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas, operated by Aramark, near Page, Arizona. As a Marina Services / Boat Rentals Instructor, you'll be the friendly face that greets guests, walks them through boat safety, and helps them launch unforgettable adventures on the turquoise waters of Lake Powell.

Your typical day runs 8 AM – 5 PM, seven days a week on a rotating schedule, checking boats in and out, briefing guests on safe operation, assisting with docking, and acting as an on-site concierge for everything the marina has to offer. The work is energetic and outdoors — perfect if you love sun, water, and people.

Outside working hours, the whole lake is your backyard. Kayaks are free, powerboat and houseboat rentals come at a discount, and national parks like the Grand Canyon, Zion, and Bryce Canyon are just a few hours' drive away. Weekly social events — movie nights, sunset hikes, karaoke, shopping trips — keep the fun going all summer long.

Dress in the appropriate clean and pressed uniform and present a clean and neat appearance. Hair must be clean, combed and well groomed; no extreme styles or colors. No dreadlocks. Clean shaven appearance is required unless a beard has previously been grown. Beard length may not exceed 5cm. Jewelry must be conservative, in good taste, appropriate to working attire and not conflict with job related safety standards. Visible body piercing, with the exception of ears is unacceptable.

A refundable $150 housing deposit is required by payroll deduction. The amount will be deducted from the first two pays ($75 per pay).

Deposit is refundable as long as there is no damage to the room and the room is cleaned upon a scheduled check-out.

Security deposits will be returned by way of direct deposit to the employee's enrolled bank account or pay card. The timing of this return is dependent upon the check out date. Failure to properly check out may result in a loss of deposit.
