Lifeguard at Valleyfair a Six Flags Park

Spend your summer where thrills meet the water! Valleyfair, a Six Flags Park in Shakopee, Minnesota is looking for energetic and safety-conscious lifeguards to join the team at Soak City Waterpark — the park's splashtacular water attraction featuring towering slides and relaxing pools.

You'll start your journey as a waterpark attendant and, after completing the fully provided 30-hour lifeguard training program (CPR, First Aid, swim rescue, spinal injury management), you'll be certified and promoted to lifeguard. Your core responsibilities include scanning the water, enforcing safety rules, and participating in weekly in-service training — all while being part of an international team that comes to work in swimwear.

Located just 30 minutes from Minneapolis–St. Paul, you'll have easy access to 22+ urban lakes, the Mall of America, Minnesota Twins baseball games, Canterbury Park horse racing, and a buzzing downtown Minneapolis scene. On days off, kayak, bike, or swim to your heart's content in the land of 10,000 lakes.
