As a Security Officer, your primary role is to create a safe and welcoming environment for guests. You will check ID badges at the beach and pools, ride trams around the resort, enforce parking regulations, and assist guests with a friendly attitude. J-1 students always work under supervision – you will never be alone in handling security incidents, as year-round staff are always present. A proper uniform is provided at no cost, and your safety is the top priority.
With a guaranteed 40 hours per week at $16/hour (estimated $640/week pre-tax), you can comfortably cover your living costs and still save for travels across the US. Housing is available nearby for $130–$150/week, and bikes are the go-to way to get around.
