Room Attendant at HAP Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge – Denali National Park, Alaska
Imagine waking up next to one of the most breathtaking natural wonders in North America — Denali National Park — and spending your summer working, exploring, and making memories that will last a lifetime. HAP Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge, operated by the largest tour operator in Alaska and the Yukon, is offering Work & Travel USA students a fantastic seasonal opportunity as a Room Attendant.
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest housekeeping standards across guest rooms and public areas. Your shift runs generally from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, leaving your afternoons and days off free to hike, raft the Nenana River, fish, camp, or hop on the park shuttle to catch a glimpse of Mt. McKinley — North America's highest peak at 20,320 feet.
The lodge is located just one mile from the entrance to Denali National Park, roughly 2 hours south of Fairbanks and 4 hours north of Anchorage. A weekly employee shuttle to Fairbanks starts in June, so you will never feel too far from city conveniences.
