At HAP Mt McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge, located in the heart of Denali State Park, Alaska, you won't just have a summer job – you'll have a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
As a Prep Cook, you'll be part of a close-knit kitchen team responsible for preparing and processing food and beverages, maintaining top hygiene and sanitation standards, and helping deliver an outstanding dining experience to guests from around the world. This is a hands-on, active role perfect for students with kitchen experience who love the outdoors.
The lodge is operated by Holland America Princess Alaska (HAP) – the largest tour operator in Alaska and the Yukon – so you'll be joining a professional, well-organized team with excellent support for international participants.
- 💰 $16/hour base pay + overtime after 40 hrs/week
- 🎁 End-of-season bonus: $200–$1,000 based on hours worked
- 👥 Referral bonus: up to $400 per person you bring on board
- 🏔️ Remote lodge in Denali State Park, ~133 miles north of Anchorage
- 🍽️ 3 meals per day included in housing cost
- 🏠 On-site suite-style housing for only $105/week (deducted from paycheck)
