Prep Cook at ExplorUS Crater Lake

Imagine spending your summer surrounded by the breathtaking volcanic scenery of Crater Lake National Park — one of the most remote and awe-inspiring destinations in the United States. As a Prep Cook with ExplorUS Crater Lake, you'll be part of the team feeding the ~700,000 visitors who travel from around the world to experience this magical place.

This is a back-of-house entry-level position focused on food preparation. You'll work in a real professional kitchen environment, gain hands-on culinary experience, and earn a solid $19/hour with the possibility of overtime pay after 40 hours per week. A one-week paid training is included, along with free Food Handler's and TIPS certifications.

Housing is guaranteed and provided on-site by the employer — dormitory-style rooms with about 4 people per room, shared bathrooms, and awesome communal spaces including a gym, laundry, and TV lounge. The Recreation Department organizes hikes, scavenger hunts, BBQs, themed nights, and trips to nearby cities like Medford, Klamath Falls, and Bend.
