Imagine waking up every morning inside Crater Lake National Park — one of the most breathtaking places in the United States. As a Porter with ExplorUS, you'll be part of the team that keeps this iconic destination running smoothly, while enjoying a summer you'll never forget.
Your role is hands-on and active: you'll handle grounds maintenance, keep public areas and restrooms clean and stocked, respond to service requests, and help create a safe and welcoming environment for the park's roughly 700,000 annual visitors. No two days are the same, and you'll always be on the move.
When you're off the clock, the adventure truly begins. Crater Lake is a designated Night Sky destination — one of the darkest skies in the USA awaits you. Hike trails, join organised trips to Medford, Klamath Falls, and Bend, and take part in fun on-site events like scavenger hunts, tie-dye nights, and employee BBQs.
- 💰 $16/hour base wage, ~$560 estimated weekly earnings
- ⏰ 35–40 hours/week on average; overtime paid after 40 hrs (up to 50 hrs in peak season)
