Ready to spend your summer in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains, working at one of the most iconic amusement resorts in the northeastern USA? Six Flags The Great Escape Lodge in Queensbury, New York is looking for energetic, food-loving students to join their Food & Beverage team!

As part of the foods crew, you'll be right in the middle of the action — taking orders, preparing everything from cheeseburgers and pizza to milkshakes and wings, operating POS registers, and making sure every guest leaves with a full stomach and a smile. The role is fast-paced, fun, and gives you real hospitality experience in a world-class entertainment environment.

The area around Lake George and Queensbury is breathtaking — think hiking trails, lake swimming, canoeing, and amusement parks, all on your doorstep. Past J1 participants have enjoyed trips to Niagara Falls, Six Flags New England, shopping in Albany, and unforgettable Lake George nights!

  • 💰 $15.75/hour, with overtime paid after 40 hours
  • 🕐 32–50 hours per week (avg. 37 hrs based on last season)
  • 🎢 Free park admission tickets after 80 hours worked + discounts at local attractions
