As a Host at ExplorUS Crater Lake, you'll be the first friendly face that up to 700,000 global visitors see when they step into the restaurant. You'll manage seating, keep the flow running smoothly, and make every guest feel welcome — all with the backdrop of Oregon's natural wonder.

This role is perfect for a nature-loving student who wants to trade city noise for star-filled skies, volcanic lakes, and forest hikes. Crater Lake is a certified Night Sky destination — one of the darkest skies in the entire USA. When you're not working, the Recreation Department organizes trips to Medford, Klamath Falls, Bend, local waterfalls, and scenic trails. On-site events like BBQs, karaoke nights, tie-dye evenings, and scavenger hunts keep the social life buzzing.

You'll earn $15/hour with an estimated ~35–40 hours per week (overtime paid after 40 hours), giving you steady income throughout the season. Housing is guaranteed on-site in dormitory-style buildings — convenient, affordable, and steps away from the park.
