Chippewa Hotel Waterfront and Pink Pony Restaurant — one of the island's most iconic hospitality venues — is looking for motivated and experienced cooks to join their international team!

Working at the Pink Pony Restaurant, right on the water with stunning harbor views, you'll be part of a fast-paced, friendly kitchen team. The employer has been welcoming international exchange visitors for over 10 years and is known for creating a supportive and fun work environment.

Housing is guaranteed and within walking distance to work — so you can roll out of bed and be at the kitchen in minutes. The ferry to the mainland is also easily accessible for weekend adventures.

💰 $11.67/hr base pay | Overtime available in peak summer season (paid after 40 hrs)
🕐 Estimated 35–50 hrs/week depending on season

Requirements: Must be 21+, have prior kitchen/cooking experience, and communicate confidently in English. A positive attitude, ability to work at a quick pace, and readiness to work in a warm kitchen environment are essential. Non-slip closed-toe shoes are required (your own). Conservative professional appearance standards apply.

The uniform top and apron will be provided at no charge. You must bring non slip closed toe shoes, like sneakers. Employees need to appear for work clean and well groomed. We maintain a conservative professional image. No tattoos or facial piercings permitted. Tattoos need be covered. Facial hair must be neatly maintained or staff must be clean shaven. Men's hair can’t be longer than collar of shirt or long enough to tuck behind their ears.

Yes. Employer Guarantees employer - owned or employer - arranged housing to all hired participants. May find own (can choose alternative).

Housing deposits are deducted from the second payroll check for the individual employee, unless other arrangements with accounting are made.

Housing inspections are done the last week before the student departs. Funds will be deducted if the room has damage or will need specialty cleaning.

Детайли за връщане на депозита

Eligible inspection approvals will release the funds on the employees final paycheck. Final paychecks are released and available for cashing by the student the day of departure.
